Ingredients

Servings for one person

  • 1 Raw medium Steak (Sirloin if possible)
  • 1 Teaspoon of French Mustard
  • 1 Teaspoon of English Mustard
  • 3 Tablespoons of Lime Juice
  • 2 Birdseye Chillies finely chopped
  • 1 Egg yoke
  • 1 Teaspoon of Tabasco

Preparation

First finely dice the raw steak so you have small cubes of beef then place in a bowl, take the yoke from the egg and add to the bowl mix carefully while adding the teaspoons of English and French mustard and Birdseye chilli now finally add the limejuice and Tabasco while mixing. Now you have the mixture you can shape onto the plate as a beef pate and cool it down in the freezer or fridge for no longer than 10 minutes. Once done serve with either chips or slice a thick piece of French bread and serve.

Wackpog's word of warning

Eating raw meat combined with a raw yolk can be dangerous if not prepared right, USE fresh ingredients brought on the day and consume within 24 hours of eating. It's a cardinal rule to drink with this dish alcohol and also makes the dish tastier in the process, word of advice this dish isn't for everyone so for the love of god don't serve this dish to pregnant women (girlfriend) or old people (your parents).

Beer and Spirits that go well with the dish
