Balsamic Glazed Almonds
- 1 cup blanched almonds (I used slivered but whole work fine)
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar
- 3 1/2 Tbsp. Balsamic
1. Combine ingredients in a small saute pan over medium heat. 2. Stir until sugar is completely dissolved and almonds are coated. 3. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until liquid is bubbling. 4. Remove from heat and pour onto parchment paper or a silpat. Use a rubber spatula to smooth almonds into a single layer. Allow to cool to room temp.
