From the Mexican Cooking Thread

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup lime juice
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 3 cups red wine (Beajoulais, Merlot, whatever you have, I used a Cote du Rhone)
  • 1 cup sparkling water (not pictured)
  • 5-6 slices of lime

Preparation

Boil the lime juice and sugar into a simple syrup, cool and then stir everything together. I mixed this up a day early to let the flavours incorporate. I need to make a note to get a bigger pitcher. Mine barely holds two pints of liquid.
