From the Mexican Cooking thread
Ingredients[edit]
- 2/3 cup lime juice
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 3 cups red wine (Beajoulais, Merlot, whatever you have, I used a Cote du Rhone)
- 1 cup sparkling water (not pictured)
- 5-6 slices of lime
Preparation[edit]
Boil the lime juice and sugar into a simple syrup, cool and then stir everything together. I mixed this up a day early to let the flavours incorporate. I need to make a note to get a bigger pitcher. Mine barely holds two pints of liquid.
