  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 white sugar
  • 1/2 cup molasses
  • 5 tsbp unsalted butter
  • 2/3 cup cold water
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 2 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp salt

In a large glass bowl, melt butter in a microwave. Add egg, molasses, sugar and water. Mix well.
