Ingredients

  • 4 figs
  • butter
  • vanilla ice cream
  • sugar
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 4cl grappa
  • pinch rosemary

Instructions

Wash figs, and cut up into eight slices each.

Slowly heat up a slice of butter in a pan (low heat). Add figs let sit in butter for 1 minute on each side, add rosemary and sprinkle figs with sugar and let caramelize. Deglaze with balsamic vinegar and grappa. Take figs out of the pan and set aside. Let sauce boil down a little.

Serve figs while still warm, on a plate with vanilla ice cream and sprinkled with sauce from pan. If you want you can add fresh fig halves as well.
