I was talking to a friend about how she knew fall was coming when pumpkin foods started showing up and got the grand inspiration to buy a costco-sized package of pumpkin. I then thought, GWS needs to be involved!
I'll start the thread with my grandmother's prize-winning Pumpkin Pancakes, I have no pictures but these are wonderful and easy to make. Yes, I have made them before.
- 2C bisquick
- 2T brown sugar
- 2t cinnamon
- 1t allspice
- 1 1/2C milk
- 1/2C canned pumpkin
- 2T oil
- 2 eggs
- 1t.vanilla
Mix it all together until the batter is smooth and then pour onto a warm greased griddle or into a waffle iron (this is a crazy variation, very out of the box) and cook as you would normal pancakes.
