Simple Syrup

A mixture of equal parts(by mass) water and granulated sugar, boiled until condensed into a syrup.
Used to sweeten a variety of beverages, including tea, coffee, and cocktails.
For a variation on simple syrup, use raw cane sugar instead of white granulated sugar.
