Yes another food thread, I wasn't going to do one for a while but my girlfriend wanted me to do a chili one this weekend, so here it is.

I use this recipe loads got it off a Texan friend, I am not a big fan of beans in a chilli and he considers it a crime so this one works well for me. I can make enough food to last me 3 or 4 meals. I use rice, tortillas, nachos or tacos with this all the time, it's so YUM!

Ingredients, I used off the shelf stuff really, but you can make your own spices especially the chilli powder and roast and grind your own cumin as well.

*500g Minced Beef

*3 cloves of Garlic

*1 Onion

*2 Green Peppers

*Canned Tomatoes

*Tomato Puree

*Beef Stock cube

Fine diced onion, garlic and green pepper.

Fry in oil for 5 mins until soft

Add the beef, and brown it.

While that is doing get the spices ready

And get the stock sorted and open the cans!

Drain excess fat off the browned mince and add everything else including a handful of chopped jalepeno peppers

Stir it well and leave to cook for 2hrs on a low heat, coming back to stir every so often
